SUSTAINABILITY
At Air-tronics, we believe it's important to work with suppliers who value environmental responsibility. Therefore, we ask our suppliers to adhere to a list of substance regulations, such as RoHS, REACH, China-RoHS, and Conflict Minerals, when creating parts and materials for our orders. We strive to be a driving force for environmental improvement within our industry and aim to decrease our global footprint while improving the efficiency of laser products from Air-tronics. Our Supplier Environmental Compliance Requirements document outlines the requirements that suppliers must adhere to, and by signing our Supplier Environmental Certification of Compliance document, suppliers can ensure the continued production of environmentally safe products.
At Air-tronics, we are dedicated to being environmentally responsible in our industry. We are constantly searching for ways to reduce our global impact while improving the efficiency of our laser products.
Laser technology typically consumes a lot of energy. In order to make a larger positive impact on the environment, Air-tronics needs to enhance the efficiency of its products. Throughout its existence, Air-tronics has made substantial investments in researching and developing lasers with better performance, longer operating lifetimes, and increased utility efficiency (in terms of both power and water consumption). The company has also decreased power consumption for customers and operations, and created materials processing applications that boost efficiency while reducing pollution levels in diesel and gas turbine engines.
At Air-tronics, we aim to promote human health and protect the environment by ensuring the secure recovery and disposal of electronic and electrical waste. We have established a compliance program to meet all relevant obligations and remain fully committed to working closely with our customers and suppliers to implement emerging RoHS requirements and ensure ongoing compliance.
Furthermore, Airtronics works together with other electronics industry experts and stakeholders to promote a collaborative approach to RoHS compliance that is both regulatory and industry-oriented.
